VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The plan for the new Vigo County jail is moving forward.

Wednesday the commissioners asked the Vigo county council to approve a resolution to put funds toward a second appraisal of the property at Springhill and SR 63.

The next step now is for the full council to approve that.

Their next meeting takes place March 12th at the county annex.
