TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A decision on charging a local teen as an adult in connection to a fatal crash in February will take a while longer.
The 16-year-old was charged with reckless homicide, criminal recklessness, and reckless driving.
The crash killed 17 year old Jenna Perrelle who was a student at Terre Haute South High School.
A hearing was set for next week on a prosecution motion that would waive the case to adult court. That has now been postponed to April 18th at the request of the defense.
