VERMILLION COUINTY, Ind – Vermillion County 911 received a report of an altercation in the area of West Harrison Street in Centenary Wednesday evening just after 6:0 p.m.

The caller said that he and his wife were in an argument and his wife had bitten him on the back.

Deputies say that the man was 49-year-old Gregory Fields had a warrant out for his arrest from Vigo County for driving while suspended.

Police arrested 46-year-old Denice M. Fields on the charge of Domestic Battery for biting her soon to be ex-husband on the back during a heated argument.

Both were taken to the Vermillion County Jail where Denice is being held on $7,000.00 bond with a mandatory 18 hour cool down hold and Gregory Fields is being held on the Vigo County Warrant.
