GREENE COUNTY, Ind.  – A hazardous material incident at a Greene County middle school in Bloomfield sent several people to the hospital.

A statement on the Eastern Greene Facebook Page said that there was an air quality situation and that all students and staff were safe, and all necessary precautions are being taken.

No major injuries were reported.

Another post said that the schools will be closed today (8/23/19).
