TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Wabash Valley Family Sports Center (WVFSC) representatives went before a judge Thursday to appeal a denial of a property tax exemption by the Vigo County Assessor.

The WVFSC which is a non-profit organization in eastern Vigo County applied for a property tax exemption but that was denied.

Thursday, the Sports Center appealed that denial.

No timeline has been given on when a decision will be made.

The sports center hosts several cross-country track events annually.
