SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced Thursday another 1,826 new cases of coronavirus and 123 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 36,934 cases, including 1,688 deaths, in 96 counties in Illinois.

The Edgar County Health Department once again reported zero confirmed cases.
