VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – Weather delays have slowed progress on the new Vigo County Jail.

The project is now about 38 days behind schedule.

The original completion date was set for December 2021 now it is scheduled for March 2022.

Rain slowed foundation work and crews had to wait for the found to dry to complete that work.
