Rockville, Ind. – As Hoosiers across the State begin to reemerge from shelter-in-place orders the staff and offenders of the Rockville Correctional Facility (RCF) are continuing to work to keep the COVID-19 virus at bay through constant and thorough deep cleaning of all areas.

Crews of offenders supervised by staff make rounds throughout the facility morning, noon, and night to augment the daily routine facility cleaning.  These crews are armed with bleach they use as additional disinfectant for commonly touched surfaces.

While RCF is often praised for high levels of cleanliness the additional efforts of the bleach crews are going the extra mile to help ensure the physical and mental health and safety of the staff and offenders.  Everyone in the facility is aware, and reassured through the labors of these crews coupled with the proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment  that as a facility, as a team, as a group of people who are truly #InThisTogether, everything possible is being done to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
