JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — A southern Indiana man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and eating parts of her body is headed to a state mental hospital.
Joseph Oberhansley will be moved from the Clark County Jail to the Logansport State Mental Hospital by Monday, according to the News and Tribune. The order was delayed by two months because of the coronavirus pandemic.
He is charged with killing and dismembering 46-year-old Tammy Jo Blanton at her Jeffersonville home in 2014.
Oberhansley was found incompetent to stand trial in January.
