SPRINGFIELD — On Thursday the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 3,239 new cases of coronavirus in the state, including 138 additional deaths.

One new case was reported in Clark County.

The department is reporting a total of 87,937 cases, including 3,928 deaths.

Edgar County is still the only local county without a confirmed case.
