MONTICELLO, Ind.–A tentative reopening date has been announced for Indiana Beach Water and Amusement Park.

They have a VIP grand reopening set for June 26 followed by reopening to the general public June 27 at 50% capacity. Indiana Beach created the Brick Paver campaign as part of its “Road to 100 Years” Project. Donors who take part in the Brick Paver Campaign get a limited number of tickets to attend the VIP grand reopening.

The campaign is part of a plan by Indiana Beach Holdings LLC – the new owners of the park – to get ready for the beach’s 100th anniversary in 2026. The owners also created a new website where they discuss the campaign and other details.

“By supporting the paver campaign, your business will have a custom printed 8” x 8” brick paver that will become part of the actual foundation of Indiana Beach! All proceeds from this initiative will go directly to infrastructure improvements throughout the Amusement Park as well as the Campgrounds,” says Indiana Beach’s website.

The website went live May and the new owners say the popularity was “crashing the site.”

Under Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb’s five-stage plan to restart the economy, amusement and water parks are allowed to open at half capacity during stage four, which begins June 14. Amusement and water parks will be able to open at full capacity beginning July 4.

On February 18, 2020, Indiana Beach announced that it would permanently close after 94 years of operation, with no plans to reopen. That later changed.

Indiana Beach was developed by the Spackman family, who owned it from 1926 to 2008. The park was then sold to Morgan RV LLC, Apex Parks Group, LLC and now is owned/operated by Indiana Beach Holdings, LLC as of April 2020.
