SPRINGFIELD  – Over 2,000 new cases of coronavirus cases were reported in Illinois on Saturday.

That brings the total to 92.457.

According to Illinois Department of Public Health data released Saturday afternoon, there were 2,088 new cases of COVID-19 and 74 additional deaths from the disease. That brings the total to have died to 4,129.
