TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A rescue facility is caring for a dog that was shot in the head.
The dog running around in the area of 18th and Ohio in Terre Haute on Saturday.
The dog was taken to Ollie’s Canine Campus in Terre Haute and is now recovering after surgery.
The dog had an extremely swollen face was swollen and a gash in his head.
It was later determined that the dog had been shot and a 9mm bullet was recovered.
