TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Two people were sent to the hospital after an accident just after midnight this morning (5/20/20) on State Road 641 at the McDaniel road exit.

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office reports that one car hit a guardrail and that debris hit two other vehicles.

The first car went into a ditch and two occupants were taken to an area hospital for treatment after being extricated. It is not believed that their injuries were life threatening.

Two cars were damaged when they were hit by debris from the guardrail. Occupants in those vehicles were not injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
