IU Researchers Think They Have Way To Kill Coronavirus

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A team of researchers at Indiana University believe they have a way to kill the coronavirus.

The IU research team has developed what they call electroceutical fabric, which sends out a small electric charge when it comes into contact with bodily fluids.

The electric charge could essentially stop the coronavirus in its tracks, completely killing it within one minute of contact.

The fabric already has FDA approval to use as wound dressing to prevent bacterial infections, but the IU research team hopes the FDA will approve the fabric to be used in face masks and other personal protective equipment.
