INDIANAPOLIS — The coronavirus is forcing more Hoosiers out of work.

26,278 people filed for unemployment in Indiana last week, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

That’s down from the adjusted total of 29,436 from the previous week, a change of 3,158.

The Dept. of Labor says 2.1 million people across the country filed for unemployment last week.
