PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Yesterday (Thursday 6/4/20) around 1:00pm, Parke County Deputies were called about a property damage accident at the Jackson Covered Bridge.

Police say that a box truck entered the bridge and damaged 44 braces.

The driver of the vehicle was cited for multiple violations and released.

The bridge is closed until a full inspection is completed.
