SPRINGFIELD, Ill  – On Friday the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 595 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease.

The IDPH also reported 77 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 131,198 cases, including 6,260 deaths.
