CLINTON, Ind – Thursday morning (6/25/20) just before 1:00 a.m. Vermillion County Deputies were called to Briar Hill in Clinton for a traffic accident with injuries.

Deputies found a green 1998 S-10 pickup with heavy front-end damage and airbag deployment.

The pickup had left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver, 33-year-old Anthony Coonce Jr. of Clinton was taken to Union Hospital in Clinton for treatment.

A toxicology report showed that Coonce’s blood alcohol level was .25%.and he also tested positive for Cannabinoids

Coonce was admitted to Union Hospital for treatment.

A report has been sent to the Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office for Review.
