Brazil, In. – The City of Brazil recently received nearly $40K from the state of Indiana. The city received $38,570 from Indiana’s Community Crossings Grant to go towards paving the roads in the St. Andrew’s Glen area. The money will end up allowing the town to complete paving nearly 50 miles of road. While the city is grateful for the funding, city officials say the current focus this winter is on maintaining the current condition of the roads. Brazil is expected to apply for more additional grant money in 2023 for patching and sealing.
