Area 7 Agency on Aging Director Gloria Wetnight (part of the West Central Indiana Economic Development District) talks about the many services that the agency provides and how they can help not just older citizens but those of all ages through out the community.

Trust for America’s Health (TFAH) and their The State of Obesity: Better Policies for a Healthier America . The annual report provides state-by-state rankings of adult obesity rates, information on trends by region, age, gender and ethnicity, and policy recommendations for local and state government.

This year the U.S. adult obesity rate passed the 40 percent mark for the first time, standing at 42.4 percent – the highest ever recorded, an increase of 26 percent since 2008.

One More Voice program with the Indiana Citizen says the time to register to vote is about to run out. The Indiana Citizen is a nonpartisan, non-profit platform dedicated to increasing the number of informed, engaged Hoosier voters.
