PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas G. Carter has recognized two Troopers from the Indiana State Police Post in Putnamville for 25 years of service.

Sergeant Jared Nicoson, a native of Cory, Indiana is a 1988 graduate of Clay City High School. Nicoson earned his Bachelor Degree in Criminology from Indiana State University in December of 1992. On December 20, 1993, he graduated from the 50th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy and was appointed as a Trooper, assigned to the Terre Haute District where he patrolled Vigo and Clay County.

In April 2009, Nicoson was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and became the road Sergeant for Clay County. During his career, he has served the Department as a member of the Tactical Intervention Platoon, Clandestine Methamphetamine Lab Team, and Field Training Officer Coordinator.

Sergeant Nicoson is married and resides in rural Clay County.

Master Trooper Presley-McFadden, a native of Kosciusko, Mississippi is a 1986 graduate of Kosciusko High School. On December 13, 1998, he graduated from the 56th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy and was appointed as a Trooper, assigned to the Putnamville District where he patrolled Putnam County.

During his career, he has served the Department as a member of the Executive Protection Team, Motor Patrol and is presently assigned to Putnam County as a road trooper.

Master Trooper Presley-McFadden resides in Hendricks County.
